Abstract

This paper is the sixth in the series “Newly Discovered Poems by Poets of the Qajar Period Based on Contemporary Journals,” which aims to recover and publish newly found poetic texts. In this installment, several recently discovered poems by three pioneers of modern Persian poetry in the late Qajar era—Taqi Rafat, Jafar Khamenei, and Shams Kasmaie—are presented to readers. The main sources of this research are journals from the late Qajar period. The publication of these newly unearthed poems represents an important step toward supplementing and correcting historical records related to the emergence of modern Persian poetry. It also sheds new light on the intellectual dimensions of these innovators and facilitates more precise research into their role in shaping the literary transformations of that period.
