Abstract
Takmilat al-Laṭā'if wa Nuzhat al-Ẓarā'if authored by Abū Muhammad Abdul Azīz ibn ‘Uthmān al-Ḥibrī, is a lesser-known Persian text from the 5th century AH. This work is referenced extensively by Aḥmad ibn Muhammad ibn Manṣūr Arfanjānī (active in 475 AH) in his book Qiṣaṣ al-Anbiyā (Stories of the Prophets). According to Arfanjānī, al-Ḥibrī's work includes not only stories of the prophets but also various anecdotes, witty remarks, and instructive tales. A manuscript selection of Takmilat al-Laṭā'if wa Nuzhat al-Ẓarā'if is preserved under the catalog number 3/1697 in the Asad Efendi Library, which is introduced and discussed in this article.
