Abstract

This Note will include the following:
A description and short review of the microfilm copy of the book Sulūk al-Salţanah in Tehran University.
A discussion on the Maqbarah al-Shu’arah (Cemetery of the Poets) in Kuye Sorkhab, Tabriz. The article begins with a statement by Ibn Karbali – the author of Rawdhat al-Jannāt – and Mr Sajjadi on the Cemetery and the neighborhood Kuye Sorkhab. It will focus on Khāqāni’s tomb, who is extensively studied in this research.
A report on a new copy of the love poem Sa‘d va Humāyūn (Sa‘d and Humāyūn). Authored by a certain Abd-al-Rahim in the 8th/15th century, the poem contains ten love letters.
A report Qarāmānī’s Arabic book on Sufism, Ādāb Ahl Allah. The book cites quotations by mystical authorities, Qur’anic verses, hadiths, Farsi and Arabic poems in order to explain the Sufi concepts of ţarīqah, sharī‘ah, and ĥaqīqah (path, law, and truth).
Focus on the copyist of an Arabic manuscript on Arabic grammar in the Library of Ayatollah Mar‘ashi Najfi.
A report on the oldest extant manuscript of Kifāyah al-Ta‘līm fī Şinā‘ah al-Tanjīm by Zahīr al-Dīn al-Ghaznawaī, a book on the different periods of the Persian Civilization.
A report on the manuscript Safinah 720, available in Ni‘matullāhī Khaniqah. The work can be seen as a source for a better knowledge of early poets whose works have not been published.
A report on the 8th/15th century poet Muhammad b. Ali Ĥakīm al-Tirmidhi by introducing one of his mystical poems.
