A New Edition of Majd Khwāfī’s Rowzeye Khuld

Abstract
The 8th/15th century author Majd Khwāfī authored the collection Rowzeye Khuld in imitation of Sa‘di’s Golestan. The present article introduces the new edition of Rowzeye Khuld by Dr Wafa’i. Comparing this edition with the one by Farrokh, some missing points in the latter and reasons for the preference of the more recent edition will be stated. At the same time, the unsubstantiated preferences in Wafa’i edition shall also be mentioned. Further, the errors in diacritics, punctuation, and orthography in the text as well as the ones in the index will be studied. Finally, after mentioning the absence of commentaries and typographical mistakes, some suggestions for correction will be offered.
