Abstract
From among the works on Seljuk history, perhaps the least known book is Al-ʽurādhah fi al-Ĥikāyah al-Saljūqiyah. It was first printed by the German scholar Karl Sussheim in Leiden (1909) with an introduction in German. Recently, Afshar Endowment Foundation has published a new edition of the book by Maryam Mirshamshi. The present article introduces this new edition of the book. First, the editor’s preface will be discussed. Then a biography of the author, the manuscripts, and their dates will be studied. After that, the advantages of the book, the necessity of correcting Sussheim’s edition and some examples of corrections shall be discussed.
