Mollāsadrā and the Issue of Plagiarism: Examining the Defenses

Abstract
Mollāsadrā has been often accused of plagiarism; and his defenders have tried to answer these accusations. In the present article, the author is going to give a short report of this issue; so, he examines the defenses in order to check their validity and strength. Then, acknowledging and quoting six of these defenses or justifications, he analyses them and tries to explain about their inefficiency. The writer has divided his article into four parts. In the first part, he gives a report of the quotes which are not based on any sources; and in the second part, he briefly analyzes the wrongness of the theory of Mollāsadrā's plagiarism. Following this, in the third part, he discusses the reasons which are written in support of Mollāsadrā. Finally, he puts an end to his essay by stating a moral point.
