Studies in Medieval Islamic Intellectual Traditions, by Sabine Schmidtke and Hasan Ansāri, is a collection of articles written in the field of Islamic Studies, and specifically focuses on understanding Islamic intellectual currents. This book is a revised edition of a collection of papers each one of which has previously been published in journals, and now are all
together republished in the form of an independent book. The articles in this book are an important part of numerous
studies the mentioned authors have over the past few decades carried out and published about Mu›tazila School and two related religions in the Islamic Middle Ages, named Imamiyya and Zaidiyya. The following paper is going to give a report of this book and its collection of articles.
