Reflection on the Meaning of a Verse of Boostān

Abstract
In the present paper, the author is going to examine a verse from Boostān, «Gar ān bādpāyān beraftand tiz to bi dast o pāy az neshastan bekhiz», and explains the meaning of «az neshastan bekhiz». In his opinion, this part means: as you are sitting on the ground, just crawl forward and move ahead. Also the part «bi dast o pay» means: you should crawl on the floor without using either your hands or feet.
