Models of God: Theology for an Ecological Nuclear Age was written by Sallie Mac Fague in 1987. What the book mainly claims is that the patterns, and consequently the concepts and the language which have been common in the Christian tradition about God and his relationship with the universe not only are not suitable anymore and have lost their function, but also are harmful for the present time since they are proposing a pattern which is based on a hierarchical, and dualistic worldview. Therefore, Mac Fague has tried to convey a new conception of God whose attributes and acts are different from the pattern of the traditional God, and more in line with the contemporary era. The following article is going to depict the content of the book and Mac Fague›s ideas.
