Abstract
Hasin bin Abdorrahmān Salmi Kufi is one of the well-known people and narrators from whom a significant number of jurisprudential and historical narratives are left in ancient sources. However, he has not been much discussed in the works done in the history of the Muslims. He is a person who was a generation before Ibn Ishāq, lived in Kufa, and had some information regarding the Prophet›s family and maqtal al-Hussein through his sources. He has a significant number of historical narratives regarding the Prophet›s family and Imam Hussein›s martyrdom, so he can be described as a person who has a clear picture of the news of Ashura although his news is not detailed. In the present article, the author is trying to introduce this person. Regarding this, he is going to study and answer the following questions: who is Hasin bin
