Al-Nesā’ wa al-Arhāb: Derāsa Genderia, written by Ᾱmāl Qarāmi and Mania al-Arfāvi is a study about the women who have joined terrorist groups, and is the result of five years of observation, interviewing, and studying international reports and ISIS handwritten documents. The book was published in 2017 in Tunisia, a country which, before the Arab Spring, sought to present a modern image of the Arab woman, but was later one of the main origins of ISIS women. In order to introduce this book, the author of the following article is going to provide a summary of its content.
