This paper begins with writing about a personal experience about the cataloging approaches of Islamic manuscripts. The author divides the following critique into several sections, each with a separate title and a brief introduction contains examples of a variety of problems and mistakes that appeared in Volume 45 of the Manuscripts Catalog available in the Parliament library. The aforementioned catalog is provided for the manuscripts No. 16101 to No. 16500 by Seyyed Sādiq Hosseini Ashkoori, and Yusef Beig Bābāpoor.
