Al-Kifāyat fi al-Nosūs alal-A’emat al-Athnā Ashar by Abulqāim Ali bin Muhammad Khazāz-e Rāzi, one of the scholars of the 5th century AH, is one of the most important Shiite sources on hadith. However, its theological aspect overcomes its hadith aspect because the writer of the book answered one of the most significant ideological concerns of the Shiite community in the first one hundred years of the major occultation which was about proving tawātur of twelve-Imam’s hadiths. Kifāyat was first published by the late Seyyed Abdullatīf Kooh Kamareie in 1401 AH. Later it was for the second time studied and corrected by Muhammad Kāzim Mousavi and Aqīl Rabi’i; and was published by Dalīl-e Mā publication in 1387. The author of the following aper intends to criticize the latter version. Regarding this, he is going to categorize his criticisms along with some examples in the following six sections: failure in search for manuscripts, making mistake in identifying and choosing the right copy of Kifāyat, picking an inappropriate title for the book, incorrect recording of the names in the documents, shortcomings in finding the sources, and an incomplete introduction to the research.
