Women in Shahnameh, by Dr. Jalāl Khāleqi Mutlaq, is in fact his Ph.D. dissertation at the University of Cologne, Germany, first published in German in 1971. English translation of this book was published in the United States in 2002, and lately Morvārid Publication has published its Farsi translation. Contrary to the scientific and methodological text of the original book, unfortunately the Persian translation is weak and messy. In this article, we will highlight some of its drawbacks and deficiencies in several sections.
