Farhang-e Ma’thoorāt-e Motoon-e Irfāni (Transmitted Anthology of the Mystical texts) includes the traditions, quotations, and proverbs of the Persian mystical texts. They are based on fifty five mystical and sufistic texts and are arranged alphabetically. This anthology is a handy reference on the mystics and Sufis’ words and sayings. In the present paper, the author tries to point out the shortcomings which he has observed in some of the published translations of the book. Most of the points raised here are dealing with the translation of the phrases, and the other ones are related to the recording and expressions.
