One of the skills of the information literacy is the ability to designate and select the good works and to abandon the bad books which lacks useful information and right citation. Being able to analyze the information, thinking critically, and having some clear criteria for evaluating the works are considered as prerequisites for this skill. This article is going to talk about the negative aspect of information literacy that is the ability to abandon the invaluable sources. Therefore, the author intends to introduce some standards which help recognize the bad books and stop reading them. He names and explains about fifteen criteria some of which are: the violation of the research ethics, generalization, using aliases, obsolescence of the sources, and lack of genuine sources.
