Abstract
Grohmann is an Austrian papyrologist who was responsible for the collection of East papyruses in the Royal Library of Austria. He has talked about the problem of dating early Qur’ans in an article. Having mentioned the publication of the fragments of the Qur’an available in the Vatican Library by Vida in 1947, Grohmann pointed out the importance of the problem of dating the early manuscripts of the Qur’an. In this paper, the author is going to review Grohmann’s article and its content.
