Abstract
Due to various sayings which are attributed to RuzbahānBaqliShirāziin praise of love, he has long been known as a lover of beauty, and a strong advocate inaddressing the romantic mysticism.Adam (AS) has obtained a prior position in his thoughts. From his point of view, Adam presents the criteria for human beauty and perfection. In the following paper, the author has tried to make use of the Qur’an depictions in order to analyze what has made Adam and his beauty,of all the creatures, so special in Ruzbahān’s view? The author has outlined this paper based on the studying of some of Ruzbahān’s writings in which most of the considerable talking about Adam can be found.These works includeRuzbahān Commentary of the Qur’an,Arāes al-Bayān, Sharh-e Hadith-e Vey, Arāes al-Hadith, Abhar al-Āsheqin andMashrab al-Arvāh.
