Nahv-e Taf’il-e Qavā’ed-e Naqd-e Matn-o al-Hadith; Derāst-o al-Tatbiqia alā Ba’z-e Ahādith-e al-Sahihain is by Ismāiel Kurdi, who is Syrian and one of the moderate revisionists. In this book, he is after the application of textual criticism rules on ahādith-e Sahihain. This book not only talks about textual criticism, but also discusses the kind of textual criticism which was ignored by recent scholars. In the present paper, the author intends to provide a report of the mentioned book. Regarding this, she firstly considers the rise of the contemporary hadith currents among the Sunnis. Following this, she talks about the writer and his book. Other issues of concern in this article are study of Ismāiel Kurdi’s thinking principles and basic views, as well as rules of textual criticism in Kurdi’s view and checking them against ahādith-e Sahihain.
