Abstract

In Hille-ye Tanīde ze Del (The House of Intertwined Hearts) is an anthology of contemporary odes and includes 191 odes by 85 poets. These odes, which have been selected, studied and explained by Ezzatollāh Foulādvand, are published in two volumes. The first volume includes 43 selected odes of 11 poets, takes a glance at the poets’ biography, and provides a brief literary report of their poems. The second volume only contains the chosen odes that is 148 odes composed by 74 poets. In the present paper, the author is firstly going to introduce the book and speaks of its features. Following this, he intends to criticize it from different point of views and in five parts: selection of poets and poems, research about poets and poems, finding fault with the poets, error in quoting the poems, shortcomings and mistakes in print.
