Tofiq Effendi Sedqi, a 19th-century commentator and an Egyptian physician, is considered to be one of those who started writing a new kind of comparison between modern sciences and the qur’anic verses, and provided novel scientific interpretations. The author of this paper depicts a new kind of Effendi commentary on the exegesis of one of the verses of Surah Saba (verse 14) which is about the death of Prophet Solomon (as).
