The Relationship between Arabic and the World Muslim’s Script and the Change of Script

The subject of the change of Persian or Arabic script, especially after the Islamic revolution and due to the advent of certain new technologies such as internet, has attracted special attention. What is important to the opponents of the reform and change of the script is the matter of “the relationship between script and Muslims’ faith”, i.e. it may disconnect Muslims from Islamic teachings because they are only available in Persian Arabic script. In the following article, the author tends to set forth the subject of “the relationship between Arabic script and the Muslims”. Regarding this, he firstly provides some information about Muslim population, its makeup, as well as the population using the Arabic script among the people of the world. Following this, considering the problems facing the Muslims and Arabic script, he talks of the impact of this script on the progress of Islam. Some of the other issues raised in this article are going to be: the impact of the script on the degree of the faith and also on the Islamic occasions. Finally, he is going to end the article by referring to a research on the influence of the change of the script in Turkey.
