Ma’ālim ol-Medina al-Monavvara bain al-Emāra wa at-Tārīkh by Abdolazīz Al-Ka’aki is a voluminous book in 30 volumes (9 parts) which has been effective in changing the urban planning policy in Medina. The author of this book has made an attempt to record the endangered legacy of the first Islamic city which has expanded more than 25 times in the last 60 years. The first part of the book was published in 1998, and its writing was completed in 2015. The present paper is going to introduce this book. Regarding this, firstly a brief biography of the author is provided, and then the titles of all the volumes are looked at. Following this, the arrangement of the content of the book is analyzed, and some information about the steps and procedure of compiling the book as well as about the author’s religious thinking is provided.
