Inconsistencies in the Orthography of the Authors’ Names and Books Titles in the Great Islamic Encyclopedia

Abstract
In most of the published data banks and
encyclopedias, the compound names of the authors
and the books are typed in three forms of without
space, half space, and full space between two
compound parts. Therefore, the process of gaining
access to the information and as a result transmitting
and analyzing the information has turned to
be not comprehensive. The same inconsistencies in
the names have been seen in all the volumes of the
Great Islamic Encyclopedia. The present paper is
going to point out some of the inconsistencies in the
orthography of the book titles and authors’ names.
