Divān an-Nathr al-Arabi (The Collection of Arabic Prose) by Adunīs is a selection of Arabic proses which was published in four volumes by Syria Dār a Bidāyāt publication in 2012. In the introduction to the book, Adunīs is going to explain in detail about the basic writing of the Qur’an and its significant influence on the Islamic culture, i.e. about the formation of the Islamic Renaissance in the fourth century. This book is going to deal with a serious reading of the history of the Islamic culture and its main source that is the Qur’an. It also discusses some of the Qur’an new manifestations, and believes that prose has played a valuable role in promoting the Arabic culture. The author of the book brings up three important points: finding the unknowns, freedom of experiencing, and freedom of expression. The present article has tried to provide a report of the mentioned book.
