Among its most remarkable achievements is <em>‛Abaqāt al-Anwār fī Imāmat al-Aʾimma al-Aṭhār</em> by the celebrated scholar Mīr Ḥāmid Ḥusayn, a work regarded as the “greatest proof of the Imāmī school.” This monumental treatise constituted a turning point in the study of the doctrine of Imamate and, owing to its rigorous methodology, has remained an enduring and influential contribution to the development of Imāmī thought. Despite numerous efforts over the course of more than a century, the work was never fully edited and published in a critical scholarly edition. Its distinctive literary style, immense size, thematic diversity, and the rarity of its manuscripts and sources posed substantial obstacles to its revival. Consequently, scholars repeatedly lamented that no printed edition worthy of the grandeur of <em>ʿAbaqāt al-Anwār</em> was available. With divine assistance, the Secretariat of the International Congress Commemorating Mīr Ḥāmid Ḥusayn undertook the task of producing a comprehensive and scholarly edition of the work. After overcoming numerous challenges, and by assembling an extensive archive of manuscript images, the project was completed according to a unified editorial methodology through the efforts of a new generation of researchers working under the supervision of specialists in the field. The result fulfilled a long-standing aspiration of scholars and students of Imāmī studies. Today, all portions of this monumental work that were suitable for critical editing and scholarly verification have been published in thirty-seven volumes, earning widespread appreciation from experts and specialists. مدرسۀ کلامی ـ فقهی لکهنو در زمانۀ ستیز و تقابلِ مذاهب، با انبوهی از اندیشوران و میراث علمی بی‌شمار، نقش چشمگیری در ترویج فرهنگ امامیه در سرتاسر شبه‌قاره، بلکه فراتر از آن در سایر سرزمین‌های اسلامی داشته است. در این بین <em>عبقات الأنوار فی إمامة الأئمّة الأطهارِ</em> علّامه میرحامد حسین علیه الرحمة به‌مثابۀ «بزرگ‌ترین حجّت مذهب»، نقطۀ عطفی در میان اندیشه‌ورزانِ امامت‌پژوه پدید آورده است و با منهجی راست و درست، نامور و پایامانده و بسط و پیشرفتِ دانش امامت به بهانۀ آن، کم‌مانند می‌نماید. سوگ‌مندانه با وجود تلاش‌های شکل‌گرفته در این سال‌های طولانی و با توجه به ادبیات منحصر‌به‌فرد، حجم قابل توجه، تنوع محتوایی و دیریابی نسخ و مصادر آن، احیای آن صورت نگرفت و «هنوز چاپ‌شدۀ کتاب <em>عبقات</em> با این عظمت را نداریم». تا آنکه با عنایات الهی، دبیرخانۀ کنگرۀ بین‌المللی بزرگداشت علّامه میرحامد حسین علیه الرحمة برای تولید یک تحقیق جامع و فنّی، کمر همّت بست و این مهمّ را پس از فراز‌و‌نشیب‌های فراوان به همراه بانکی از تصاویر نسخ، بر اساس شیوه‌نامه‌ای واحد و به همت نسلی از پژوهشگران جوان زیرنظر استادان فن، به ثمر رساند و آرزوی دیرینۀ عالمان و دغدغه‌مندان را تحقق بخشید. امروز تمام آنچه از این اثر سترگ که قابلیتِ تصحیح و تحقیق را داشته است، در 37 جلد به زیور طبع آراسته و ستایش اهل فنّ و متخصصان را متوجّه خود گردانیده است. https://jap.isca.ac.ir/article_80059_0ecc9d5114b0183d0a0ad5b593dc81a5.pdf
