Through an analysis of translations, paratexts, and related interpretations, the study demonstrates that the reception of Ḥāfiẓ’s poetry from earlier centuries through the nineteenth century was mediated by two major traditions. The first was the Ottoman tradition, which approached Ḥāfiẓ primarily within the framework of mystical and Sufi literature. The second was the tradition of European translations, which emphasized the poet’s romantic and hedonistic dimensions and thereby generated an entirely new mode of reading. This transformation emerged under the influence of German Romanticism and was largely transmitted through intermediary translations. Drawing upon the translation theories of Lawrence Venuti and Piotr Blumczyński, the article approaches translation not merely as the transfer of meaning but as an act of cultural recreation that functions differently within distinct historical and social contexts. Through this perspective, the study highlights the dynamic role of translation in reshaping literary reception and cultural memory across linguistic and civilizational boundaries. این مقاله به بررسی نقش ترجمه در شکل‌دهی به دریافت، بازنمایی و تحول شعر حافظ در بالکان غربی طی اواخر دوران عثمانی و دورۀ هابسبورگ می‌پردازد. با تحلیل ترجمه‌ها، پارامتن‌ها و تفاسیر مرتبط، نشان داده می‌شود که شعر حافظ از سده‌های پیشین تا قرن نوزدهم از دو سنت عمده عبور کرده است؛ نخست: سنت عثمانی که حافظ را در چارچوب ادبیات عرفانی می‌خواند؛ دوم: سنت ترجمه‌های اروپایی که با تأکید بر جنبه‌های عاشقانه و لذت‌گرایانه، خوانشی کاملاً نو ایجاد کرد. این تحول، تحت تأثیر رمانتیسیسم آلمانی و از طریق ترجمه‌های واسطه‌ای شکل گرفت. مطالعه حاضر با اتکا بر نظریه‌های ترجمۀ لارنس ونوتی و پیوتر بلومچینسکی، ترجمه را نه‌تنها به‌عنوان انتقال معنا، بلکه به‌مثابۀ بازآفرینی فرهنگی می‌بیند که در هر بستر تاریخی و اجتماعی به شکل متفاوتی عمل می‌کند. https://jap.isca.ac.ir/article_80068_af913b67d94c8424a9f981fce4668f15.pdf
