By extracting and systematizing these features, it becomes possible both to develop an effective framework for the precise description of literary histories and to evaluate such works from the perspective of Wellek’s critical approach. This study undertakes precisely such an examination. The present installment focuses on Wellek’s aesthetic considerations and their place within literary historiography. In order to illustrate his views more concretely, the study investigates the presence or absence of these principles in a major work of Persian literary history. Wellek employs the term “literary history” in two distinct senses: first, as the study of literary traditions, genres, and major literary figures within a particular language; and second, as the study of unpredictable transformations in literary works resulting from processes of defamiliarization and artistic innovation. A proper understanding of Wellek’s contribution to literary historiography depends upon recognizing how he integrates these older and newer conceptions of literary history. This article forms part of a larger series consisting of seven independent studies on literary historiography, each devoted to a specific topic. In every chapter, a section entitled “Theoretical Discussion” introduces the relevant historiographical issue and explains Wellek’s position on it. This is followed by a “Case Study” section in which a selected passage from <em>Az Ṣaba ta Nima </em>by Yahya Aryanpoor (Tehran: Zavvar Publications, 2 vols., 8th ed., 1382 Sh./2003; 1st ed., 1350 Sh./1971) is critically examined according to the principles under discussion. All of the theoretical foundations employed in this study are derived directly from René Wellek’s writings, which have been examined in the earlier installments of this series.   رنه ولک تقریباً تمام ویژگی‌های مهم و برجستۀ مربوط به تاریخ ادبیات را در آثار گوناگون خود برشمرده و نظر خودش را در هر مورد شرح داده است. با استخراج کل این ویژگی‌ها می‌توان هم روش مناسبی را برای توصیف دقیق این قبیل آثار فراهم آورد و هم آنها را با رویکرد خاص رنه ولک مقایسه کرد، و این کاری است که در این بخش انجام داده‌ایم. در این بخش دربارۀ ملاحظات زیبایی‌شناختی ولک و چگونگی حضورشان در تاریخ‌نگاری‌های ادبی سخن گفته و ‌کوشیده‌ایم تا برای نمایش بهتر آرای وی، حضور یا عدم حضور این ملاحظات و ویژگی‌ها را عملاً در یک کتاب تاریخ ادبیات فارسی نشان دهیم. رنه ولک از اصطلاح «تاریخ ادبیات» در دو معنای متفاوت استفاده می‌کند: یکی در معنای بررسی تاریخ سنت‌های ادبی و انواع ادبی و تاریخ مشاهیر ادبی و غیره در زبانی خاص و دیگری در معنای بررسی تغییر و تحول‌های غیرقابل پیش‌بینی و ناشی از آشنایی‌زدایی در آثار ادبی در مقام شیئی هنری یا زیبایی‌شناختی. درک صحیح از دست‌آوردهای ولک در حوزۀ تاریخ‌نگاری ادبیات، منوط به درکِ چگونگی تلفیق این دو تعریف جدید و قدیم از مفهوم تاریخ ادبیات با هم است. بخش حاضر متشکل از 7 فصل مستقل در بارۀ تاریخ‌نگاری ادبی است که هریک به موضوعی خاص اختصاص دارد. در هر فصل ابتدا ذیل قسمتی با عنوان «بحث نظری» به معرفی آن موضوع در حوزۀ تاریخ‌نگاری ادبی می‌پردازیم و نظر رنه ولک را دربارۀ آن شرح می‌دهیم، و سپس ذیل قسمتی با عنوان «مطالعۀ موردی» می‌کوشیم تا بخش کوتاهی از کتاب <em>از صبا تا نیما</em> اثر یحیی آرین‌پور (تهران، انتشارات زوار، 2 ج، چ 8، 1382 [چ1: 1350]) را برحسب آن موضوع نقد و ارزیابی کنیم. تمام مطالب نظری در بارۀ هریک از فصل‌های این بخش تماماً برگرفته از آثاری از رنه ولک است که در بخش‌های قبلی همین سلسله‌مباحث بدانها پرداختیم. https://jap.isca.ac.ir/article_80067_91452632c4edbad0b9688b6b9efac6bf.pdf
