This theory is based on the principles that form the basis of his theory in criticism; it has also brought about some achievements for Ᾱmeli regarding writing the biography of Imam Ali (AS). The main issue of this research is the retrieval and analysis of the principles and functions of criticism theory in <em>al-Sahih men Sirat al-Imam Ali</em> <em>(AS).</em> The most important features of this criticism theory are its being holistic, moderate, authentic, prudent, and Qur'an-centric. Editing the scripture, defending the virtues, responding to the doubts, being innovative, and studying the doctrines are among the functions of Ᾱmeli's criticism theory in writing the biography of Ali (AS). The result of the research is to emphasize on Ᾱmeli's methodological approach to al-Sira's criticism and to describe the dimensions of analytic-critical biography writing in <em>al-Sahih men Sirat al-Imam Ali</em> (AS).   <strong>چکیده: </strong>محقق عاملی از سیره نگاران معاصر امامیه در <em>الصحیح من سیرة الإمام علی(ع) </em>دارای نظریه خاص در نقد و سنجش گزارش‌های تاریخی- حدیثی است؛ این نظریه بر اصولی استوار است که اساس نظریه وی را در نقد تشکیل می‌دهند؛ هم‌چنین پیامدهایی را برای محقق عاملی در سیره نگاری علی(ع) به ارمغان آورده است. مسئله اصلی این پژوهه بازیابی و تحلیل استنادی اصول و کارکردهای نظریه نقد در <em>الصحیح من سیرة الإمام علی(ع) </em>است. مهم ترین اصول نظریه نقد محقق عاملی جامع نگری، اعتدال، اصالت، احتیاط، تاریخ‌گذاری، قرآن محوری و جریان شناسی است. پیرایش نصوص، دفاع از فضائل، پاسخ به شبهات، نوآوری و ابداع و آموزه شناسی از جمله کارکردهای نظریه نقد محقق عاملی در سیره نگاری علی(ع) است. برآیند پژوهش تأکید بر روشمندی محقق عاملی در نقد السیره و توصیف ابعاد سیره نگاری تحلیلی- انتقادی الصحیح من سیرة الإمام علی(ع) است. https://jap.isca.ac.ir/article_69482_ccfc6a4fc521995a1b0af2b6429714de.pdf
